Tips to treat thinness in Ramadan
Some suffer from the problem of excessive thinness and try to increase their weight without interest. As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, when food habits change, take this opportunity to gain weight in a healthy way.
Weight control is one of the most important things at the health level. Low body weight often indicates malnutrition and weakness. The feeling of weakness in the month of Ramadan increases because of fasting and not getting the nutrients needed by the body, but the month of Ramadan is a great opportunity to gain the weight required. The treatment of thinness in Ramadan depends on a diet and lifestyle to gain weight including eating healthy meals rich in calories and exercise at appropriate times. Many scientific studies have shown that weight gain comes not only with eating high-calorie meals but by following habits that help nourish the body and increase weight. Here are tips for treating thinness in Ramadan.
Breakfast
Breakfast is characterized by the possibility of eating different elements of food without fear of thirst. You can take mayonnaise, cream, butter and nuts for breakfast. Get the right amount of Ramadan food for you to enjoy the high calories it contains. Avoid drinking a large amount of water during or before breakfast to enhance the feeling of fullness, which prevents you from eating more food. Dr. Amr Khafaga, a nutritionist, says eating meals containing all kinds of bread, rice or pasta provides the body with carbohydrates that help treat thinness because it contains a high percentage of calories.
Suhoor meal
It is recommended to plan good meals and times during Ramadan when you want to gain weight and treat thinness. Dr. Amr Khafaga, a nutritionist, says fasting during Ramadan works to lose weight heavily. For slimming, a meal is recommended every 3 hours between breakfast and suhoor. Khafajah said that the suhoor meal is necessary and it is important not to neglect it to avoid feeling hungry during fasting. The suhoor meal should contain cheese and whole grain bread and be advised to add olive oil and avocado to the suhoor meal as it is good body fat. Khafaja added that oatmeal and vegetable milk may be a wonderful sorcery meal for those who can not eat milk and cheeses. Khafajah advised that meals should contain carbohydrates - rice, pasta and whole grains.
Playing sports
Dr. Amr Khafaga says that exercising during the month of Ramadan before breakfast helps in feeding the bones and muscles. He added that exercise before breakfast and after fasting helps to open the appetite to eat more food and encourages exercise to eat healthy diets. Khafajah is advised to eat an appropriate amount of milk on both breakfast and suhoor to obtain the appropriate fat to build muscles to help protect against thinness. Weight lifting sports can increase muscle and bone density. Khafajah is advised to practice fitness and weight lifting exercises with a specialist before breakfast to feed the muscles and bones in the protein that is contained in the breakfast.
